Call for abstracts - Terms and Conditions

All abstracts must be submitted by 30 May 2024. Submissions received after this date will not be considered. 

Each individual may submit up to four abstracts.

For accepted submissions, any changes from, or additions to, your original submission must be approved by the Scientific Committee. 

The VADCON24 team reserves the right to rescind the offer to present or be featured in the VADCON24 program at any time.

Registration is a condition of accepting the offer to present at VADCON24. All presenters must register and pay by 30 September 2024 to obtain the discounted Presenter rate. 

Presenters are responsible for their own accommodation expenses and travel to and from VADCON24 in Brisbane. 

By submitting an abstract, the author agrees that their name and the details of their presentation may be featured on our website, in our conference communications and in wider VADCON24 communications. If there are issues with this, you must notify us in writing at the time you submit your abstract at [email protected]

All abstracts must be submitted electronically via the online submission process. Emailed submissions will not be accepted. 

In the event that VADCON24 cannot happen in-person, for example due to a serious weather incident or a pandemic restriction, we will revert to a virtual conference delivery model. We will be continuously monitoring the situation and all attendees will be notified and provided further information if this occurs.
