'It gave us a sense of peace'

"She was going to die in pain or she could use voluntary assisted dying to assist her to achieve the death she wanted." 

Jacqui Hicks tells SBS Insight's Jenny Brockie what it was like to witness the death of her Mum, Kerry Robertson, the first person to use Victoria's Voluntary Assisted Dying laws.

"It was peaceful and beautiful."
