Due to the coronavirus emergency, Go Gentle Australia will be doing things a little differently over the next few months.
It is clear our collective focus must be on staying safe and restricting the spread of this virus in the Australian community.
For this reason, we are working from home and limiting our public engagements. You can still call, email or message us.
Please be reassured that we are not going anywhere. Although these are challenging times, we remain optimistic and committed to protecting the most vulnerable in our society, the terminally ill.
We will monitor developments and keep you posted.
In the meantime, please follow medical advice from reputable sources (such as the World Health Organisation, and your state Health Departments) on personal hygiene, social distancing and self-isolation.
Also, stay connected with your loved ones, particularly those who are elderly, frail or terminally ill. They need our support more than ever.
You may not be able to see them in person, but reach out to them for a chat or help them with supplies. Check in with carers and ask if there is anything you can do to make their job easier.
We encourage you to stay safe, stay positive and be kind.
The Go Gentle team
