Julian Kingma: The Power of Choice
Sydney exhibition
2 - 25 June 2026
Address: The Fountain Court, NSW Parliament House
6 Macquarie St, Sydney NSW 2000
Visit the free exhibition at NSW Parliament House on weekdays, 9am to 5pm.
Access is to the left of the building via the security gatehouse.
For 18 months, Julian travelled Australia to do something no-one has attempted before - document the people who choose voluntary assisted dying (VAD), and the families and health professionals who help them on their final journey.
Julian's deeply personal portraits and photo essays capture stories of hope, struggle, courage and acceptance. They reveal the human face of Australia's compassionate VAD laws and invite us to ask, perhaps for the first time, what constitutes a good death?
Don't miss this powerful exhibition, on display at NSW Parliament from Tuesday 2 until Thursday 25 June.
