Wow! What a year 2021 has been for end of life choice in Australia. And 2022 is set to be even bigger.
In 2021, Tasmania, South Australia and Queensland all passed Voluntary Assisted Dying laws, with progress in New South Wales and the Territories too. Western Australia's law also became effective in July.
These reforms are in no small part down to your continued advocacy. Thank you for all your support.
The Go Gentle team is taking a well-earned break and will return mid January. But we won't rest until every state and territory has passed Voluntary Assisted Dying laws.
